Addressing Educational Technology and Needs for Underrepresented Rural Students in the Borderplex Region :El Paso, Texas, is one of the highest concentrated Hispanic areas (83%), with approximately (50%) of households still without broadband, and, in general, the Borderplex region and the immediate rural area outside of El Paso, already burdened with the challenges of the digital divide and inequity it created, suffered greatly during the pandemics…Hoping to impact the foundational design of the future of education with the LatinX EdTech Summit in El Paso on June 16, 2022.
