New Round of UWorld Cares Grants Will Provide $150,000 in Education Funding for Dallas/Fort Worth Organizations
The company is seeking community partners who focus on STEM, middle and high school, and financial literacy
DALLAS (January 25, 2023) – UWorld, a leading provider of online learning tools for high-stakes exams, today announced a new round of applications for UWorld Cares, a company-wide program committed to drive success in education by investing in the communities it serves. This initiative extends the company's previous philanthropic efforts by focusing on three pillars of charitable giving: community grants, product scholarships, and employee engagement.
This year’s UWorld Cares funding increased to $150,000 and will focus on partnering with community organizations to create a stronger pathway to higher education, address skills gaps in the workforce, and remove barriers to higher education. UWorld is accepting grant applications between January 1 and March 31, 2023, from Dallas/Fort Worth-based 501(c)(3) organizations located in Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties. Areas of focus include STEM, middle and high school education, and financial literacy programs. Organizations will be notified in May if their request has been approved.
In addition, UWorld Cares will continue to accept scholarship applications for exam prep products. The scholarships, which provided $3.4M for students last year, can cover resources for the bar, Level 1 Certified Financial Accountant (CFA®) exam, and the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam throughout the year.

In 2022, UWorld employees volunteered more than 600 hours in their local communities, while the company and its employees donated more than $175,000 to more than 70 organizations around the country.
