Be part of your child’s education. Do not let your child just go to school and assume the learning will happen there. For instance, if my child is learning in school about butterfly metamorphosis, as a parent I will go outside and look for mealworm larva when I’m upstate with my children to help reinforce that learning. I think it’s so important that you’re just as invested in the learning as they are.
 

School is really not easy these days. Many students have been out of school for a long time because of the pandemic, and the continued disruptions and anxieties are still breaking the flow of normal learning. What can parents do to help their children thrive and excel in school, particularly during these challenging and anxiety-provoking times?
