Happy Thanksgiving to all! In the spirit of the season, I asked members of the PRP team to share what they’re grateful for, both at work and at home. Here’s what they said. I’d love to hear your stories of gratitude in the comments!

Thanksgiving toast

Jacob Hanson, CEO: There are so many things I feel immense gratitude for this holiday season. First is the simple fact that I have the opportunity to work with so many dedicated professionals who continuously demonstrate their commitment to helping students, teachers, parents and administrators in their tireless effort to improve education in general. I am grateful to each of my teammates and all of the members of our client family. They make coming to “work” not seem so much like work.

And last but not least, I am and will be forever grateful for the endless support and understanding from my parents. And to my children, Sawyer and Bexley: you may never fully grasp what you mean to me and what you have done for me. Thank you both for giving me the exceptional honor of being your daddy.

Mandi Andrejka, Client Lead: This is my first year with PRP, and I’m constantly blown away by the amazing people in our team. Not only are they incredibly talented, they’re also incredibly understanding. No matter what a team member is going through that day—at work or in their personal life—if someone is having a tough time, this group steps up to help out in any way possible, even if that means just being a good listener when someone needs it. It makes the fun times that much more special, and it shows that there’s space for vulnerability when it happens too. I’m so grateful to work with such awesome Panachios who put up with my corny jokes, random internet references, and obsessive grammar rantings.

Tristian Williams, Digital Marketing Strategist: I'm grateful to work with great people who start early and finish late to ensure our clients get the best that we have to offer. It's inspiring to see our team love their craft and use it to help our clients better serve their customers.

Joshua Bolkan, Content Creation Storyteller: At work, I’m grateful that I get to chat with committed and passionate educators to help share their stories with the world day after day. At the beginning of each new story I get to listen to the enthusiastic sparkle in someone’s voice as they talk about how they’ve helped open the world up for young minds. At home, I’m grateful to be looking forward to a growing family as my wife does the hard work of building a whole person we’ll get to meet in the spring.

Kayla Proell, HubSpot Coordinator: I am grateful first and foremost for my family. For my wonderful husband, Nick: our life is a crazy adventure but I wouldn’t want to spend it with anyone else. For our beautiful daughter, Rylee; words can’t even describe the love that I have for you or the joy you bring to us each and every day. Thank you for making me a mommy. For my parents and my brother who always push me to be the best that I can be and are my biggest supporters in life. I appreciate you all more than you know.

I am so grateful for the team that we have here at PRP and all the skills that everyone brings to the table. I have been working at PRP for 4 1/2 years, and although we may be a remote company, getting to work with the people on our team every day is like working with family. I am blessed to get to work with each of you every day.

Cici Allen, Client Lead: What I like most about my day (other than being a new mom) is that I get to sign out from work with a sense of satisfaction that I helped accomplish my client’s goal, and I get to be a small part of their bigger picture.

Eli Jochim, Client Success: I’m grateful for the education and experience I’m receiving from PRP. Having been ushered into the company as someone rather new to the industry, I’ve found the team to be a collective wellspring of knowledge not only in the education market, but in marketing at large. I appreciate my team for sharing their expertise daily without restraint and helping me develop professionally without limit.

Leah Rodgers, Storyteller: I’m so grateful for all the travels I’ve been privileged to take advantage of this year. It’s been such an adventure, and I’ve been loving the new adventure of settling back in to Minneapolis. I’m grateful for my amazing family and friends that have cheered me on this year, and I feel so lucky to do what I love in an industry that excites me. Hearing inspiring stories and sharing them in any way I can has been a gift.

Evan Outlaw, Client Success: I’m grateful for another day to improve and work at becoming the best me I can be. I’m grateful for my health and the opportunity to control my own fitness destiny.  I’m grateful to be able to live how, where, and with whom I want to live. Most of all, I’m thankful for all of my loved ones who confide in me and who I can confide in for solace.

Vickie Hiebert, Operations Manager: I'm grateful for the freedoms we have and the choices we are able to make every day that lead us to make our lives and those around us better. Grateful for technology that allows us to work with so many companies and people literally around the world who are passionate about their goal to improve the lives of those involved in education and our future generations of bright and talented people. That same technology allows us to work side-by-side with a group of individuals with diverse backgrounds and stories of their own, Our talented team members are spread over thousands of miles physically, but close enough to touch each other's lives in seconds.

Above all, I’m grateful for the gift of a son with a special power all his own to open eyes and hearts in the midst of the chaos of a busy life.

Sarni Jaye, Client Lead: I'm grateful to work with a group of talented professionals who serve tirelessly behind the scenes to help our clients shine in the spotlight. I'm grateful for those same clients also who are passionately, purposefully, and progressively elevating ideas, products, brands, and movements that advance the common good; and I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue on the journey as we march into a new year and a new decade of possibility. Also, pie.

Thanks for sharing!
