PR with Panache! hosts "Meeting of the Minds" media suite at ISTE 2014!

Have you ever wondered what the personal apartment of a billionaire might look like?

At ISTE 2014, we had the chance to find out – our “Meeting of the Minds” media suite in the Omni Hotel at CNN Center was once a “home away from home” for Ted Turner!

From media members to clients, everyone was blown away by the incredible view of the CNN atrium! Over the two-day suite, our team coordinated media meetings for eight of our wonderful clients: Odysseyware, Junyo, myON, Learning Upgrade, Nervanix, School Improvement Network (SINET), Copia and Promethean.

Seven of those clients set up shop in our “Meeting of the Minds” media suite, where we escorted education editors, writers, bloggers and industry stakeholders from table to table. We lovingly refer to the process as “media speed dating!”

Meanwhile, Promethean hosted its meetings in its two-story exhibitor booth to give visitors an in-depth look at their newest tool, ClassFlow. Our team was certainly busy as we shuffled media between both locations!

We also had the pleasure of hosting two incredible speakers in our suite over lunch! Jerry Blumengarten, also known as Cybraryman and PRP’s new social media storyteller, shared the value of Twitter with our clients on Sunday.

On Monday, Ron Reed and his team from SXSWedu gave our clients and friends some insider tips on submitting sessions to the Panel Picker. Our suite was packed to the brim for both events, and we can’t thank Jerry and Ron enough for their insightful presentations.

Our new video storyteller, Jake Sturgis, was also on hand to capture a PRP “Meeting of the Minds” media suite in a new way. Our clients and members of the media graciously agreed to be interviewed about their experience working with PR with Panache, and we can’t wait to see the footage!

When the conference was over, we were thrilled to see ClassFlow, myON and Nervanix selected as winners of Tech & Learning's 2014 ISTE Best of Show award! We’re already looking forward to our next media suite at TCEA 2015 in February!
